1. Age and eligibility
No person under 21, or under any higher minimum legal gambling age in an authorised jurisdiction, may participate. Age, identity and location must be verified before deposits, wagers or equivalent participation where required.
2. Gambling is entertainment, not income
Do not treat gameplay as employment, an investment, a way to pay debts or a solution to financial difficulties. Do not borrow money, use credit or spend essential funds to play.
3. Safer-play guidance
- decide a loss limit before starting and stop when it is reached;
- set time and deposit limits;
- never chase losses;
- do not play while distressed, intoxicated or impaired;
- take regular breaks and review activity history; and
- stop immediately if play affects finances, health, work or relationships.
4. Warning signs
- spending more money or time than intended;
- repeated attempts to recover losses;
- borrowing or selling possessions to continue;
- hiding activity from other people;
- neglecting work, education or relationships; or
- anxiety, irritability or inability to stop.
5. Controls required before launch
A policy page alone is not sufficient. Before real-money launch, the authorised operator must implement and test:
- age, identity, sanctions and jurisdiction checks;
- deposit, wager, loss and time limits with safer rules for increases;
- session duration and win/loss reminders, activity history and time-outs;
- self-exclusion and suppression of marketing to self-excluded users;
- monitoring and trained human intervention for indicators of harm; and
- local complaints, regulator, self-exclusion and support routes for every permitted market.
6. Self-exclusion
Before launch, the operator must publish the available exclusion periods, account effects, treatment of balances, reactivation rules and interaction with any national self-exclusion register. XTAP must not promise a control until it has been implemented and tested.
7. Getting help
If gambling causes harm, stop and contact an independent support organisation or licensed healthcare provider in your country. Country-specific resources must be verified for each permitted market; emergency or crisis contact details must never be guessed.
8. Contact and launch gate
A dedicated responsible-gaming email, working self-exclusion route, licence and regulator details must be published before launch. The current official Telegram is not a substitute for an operational player-protection channel.
